Stiff sponge mops are usually caused by evaporation of water causing the sponge to lose its moisture, or due to the accumulation and solidification of dirt and detergent residue. In order to restore the softness of your sponge mop, you can try the following methods:

1.White vinegar and toilet water method. First prepare a plastic bag, add an appropriate amount of white vinegar, then add a few drops of toilet water, and then add water to dilute it. Put the mop into a plastic bag and let the mop absorb the liquid. After waiting for 20 minutes, rinse the mop with clean water.

2.Toilet water method. First put the mop into the basin, then sprinkle it with toilet water, pour in hot boiling water and soak it for 3 minutes.

3.Laundry powder or laundry detergent method. First clean the mop head, then use washing powder or laundry detergent to soak it in hot water for half an hour, and finally clean it.

Warm water washing method. Soak the mop in warm water to loosen and dissolve stuck-on dirt. Gently squeeze the mop to release excess water and rinse with clean water.
